I Found It!

All is right in the world! The birds are singing, the sky is blue and the sun is shining bright! I have found my setting powder! In my last post My Second Skin, I mentioned that I have been in search of a powder that I can use to set my makeup that will photograph well. I did not want to go with a white translucent type of powder as I wanted something that was warmer and rich and my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder is exactly that. I have to say that I have really enjoyed falling back in love with MAC and their products. It does help when you have a consultant that actually knows what they are talking about and can really match products up with your complexion. I told her exactly what I wanted and shared that I have been watching some vlogs on YouTube that spoke very highly of this particular powder. I have actually used this powder before a few years ago, but it was the wrong shade and they have since changed the packaging where is now comes with a great mirror. This a product that you can be used alone if you want light coverage, or you can use it as I intend to which is to set and fix my foundation. It gives my makeup and flawless finish and photographs like a dream. You have several color options with this powder, so you should be able to find one that will match your skin color or if you want a bronze or tanned look, you can achieve that as well. Have you heard the saying "Don't feed the beast!"? Well my husband believes in feeding the beast as he offered and purchased makeup for me when he was in the duty free part of the airport and found a MAC store.
