It has been a long time coming, but I finally have my Clarisonic Facial Cleansing System! I have wanted to own one for some time now, but I just could not get myself to fork up the money as it is not the cheapest item out there. As I get older, I am all about skin care and getting products that will keep my skin healthy, smooth and youthful, especially since I am a person who enjoys wearing makeup. When you adorn yourself in makeup, ensuring that you have a good skin care regimen is imperative. I decided to take advantage of the Nordstroms sale and purchase my Clarisonic while they were marked down. I went with the Mia 2 which is a smaller compact version that is a lot more travel friendly and let me just say that I am in love with it. My cousin kept telling me that when I get my hands on one, I will not be able to leave it alone and she was so right! My face has never felt smoother or cleaner. It really does a great job of deeply cleansing my pores without being harsh or abrasive. You can use your favorite cleanser with it and they recommend that you spend one minute cleansing your face it, 20 seconds on your forehead, 20 seconds on your nose and chin, and 10 seconds on each cheek. Of course, if you desire to spend more time on a certain area of your face that needs more attention, you can do that and not feel like you are stripping your skin. There are 5 different systems that you can choose from for the face: Mia 1, Mia 2, Mia 3, Smart Profile and the Sonic Radiance, so you can find one that will address your particular concerns. There are also several different brush heads that you can choose from and purchase that are targeted to work on acne or dark spots and many other focus areas. If you are wanting to make an investment in your skin care, definately take a look at the Clarisonic Facial Cleansing System and see if it is for you. I know that there are a lot of products that are hyped up and you wonder if they are worth all of the claims that are made, but this system has really lived up to what I have heard and it has exceeded my expectatitions.
