Textures of the Season-Fur & Leather

I just love this time of year when it comes to fashion! The wardrobe options are just to die for. Coats, boots, oversized & chunky sweaters and scarves galore. We are in a fashion day and age where almost anything goes. We can take certain pieces and wear them in a casual setting and just by changing some elements, adorn them at night with sophistication. I am a person who feels that color can add some personality to an outfit, but in the same breathe I can appreciate a minimal monochromatic look. What draws me in the most about fashion in the fall/winter season are the many textures. From fur to leather and suede, there are so many pieces to choose from to update your look. No matter what your personal style is, you can tie in the textures of the season to bring out your fashion "A" game!

Leather can make you look edgy and chic at the same time, it allows one to take safe chances with their look. You may go for an over the knee boot while someone who is not as risky will stick with a great pair of cut out heels. Leather jackets are timeless and always have a place from season to season. I love a great biker jacket or something with more of a modern spin combining fabrics like leather and denim, you can't go wrong either way.

Besides the fact that fur can keep you feeling cozy and warm during the times when the weather is less favorable, it is so stylish! I have added a few key fur pieces to my fall/winter wardrobe with some enroute as we speak. There are great multi color vests and coats that look so luxurious, but with updated details and cuts so current. You may not even go for something that is all fur like a coat, your thing maybe a fur detail on a dress or a pair of fantastic boots.

Whether you are daring or reserved with your fashion choices, there are a plethora of ways that you can incorporate the textures of the season. Have fun finding your signature fall/winter style! I would love to see and hear about what you are rocking for the season!

XOXO
