The last couple of months have been very low key, but a whirlwind at the same time thanks to some travel. My family and I enjoyed a couple of vacation trips which was totally awesome and much needed. I thought that I would take some time and share some of the things that I have been loving over the last couple of months. Some beauty and some fashion, but these are all items that I have not been able to do without!
First up, skin care. It is no secret how I feel about the boscia skincare line and I have found a new product that I am really enjoying. The boscia Enlivening Amino-AG Eye Treatment has been a much needed addition to my skincare routine. This product is formulated to hydrate that very delicate skin under the eye to prevent signs of aging and reduce the appearance of dark circles which is a concern of mine. It is very creamy and moisturizing without feeling greasy. It is still early as far as me using this product, but so far so good and I am excited to see the continued results.
With makeup, you would be surprised to know that I have been on the quiet front. I have made some small purchases that have been well worth it. I finally purchased the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer and WOW, I am in love! I now see what all the hype has been around this product. It is buttery and smooth and feels like you have nothing on and it does not budge throughout the day. I am all about supporting the Youtubers that I am obsessed with watching and last month I picked up the Jenn Ne Sais Quoi Quad from Colour Pop Cosmetics. This is a collaboration that Colour Pop did with Jenn Im from Clothesencounters and I love it. The shades are very warm and neutral with a hint of shimmer in some of them. They fall right in my wheelhouse and great for creating a sexy summer look.
In the land of jewelry, I have continued my passionate love affair with baublebar.com. From necklaces to earrings I have continued to receive their beautiful pink boxes in the mail. There has been one piece of jewelry that has stolen my heart of late and it is the choker. This fashion accessory continues to make comeback after comeback and I am loving it. Whether it is thick or thin, velvet or metal, I have been working these pieces into my work and weekend wardrobes. I find that they can be quite versatile and can really change and outfit and upgrade the chic factor.
My final item is my mini cross-body bag from Zara. What I love about this bag is the neutral color that allows me to wear it with a variety of outfits. It is also elegant enough to wear out at night due to the metal strap detail. The tassel adds a very trendy element to the bag, without taking anything away from it.
These have been the items that have found their way into my everyday and they have been welcomed additions. I would love to hear what you have been enjoying for the summer months, so do share!
Some of my favorite neutral makeup from Morphe, Urban Decay, NARS and Becca.
